Read More 2> Fostering Diversity-Equity-Inclusion-Belonging Apply now for the inaugural Tribal Supportive Housing Institute WHEDA Applications are now being accepted to participate in the Wisconsin Tribal Supportive Housing Institute. The goal of the institute is to increase capacity within tribal communities to develop supportive housing, both on and off tribal land, and to reduce the timeline for building supportive housing by improving the planning and development process.
The Tribal Institute will accept up to 11 teams and provide them with technical assistance and training to take a supportive housing development from an idea to reality. Ideally, teams would include, at a minimum, a developer partner, a supportive service provider, a property management partner, and other key tribal staff... Several Northeast Wisconsin environmental projects are receiving federal funds from the USDA Forest Service through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
The USDA Forest Service announced Tuesday that it is investing $1.16 million to support 11 Wisconsin restoration projects.
The largest grant was awarded to the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District -- $294,326 to support a NEW Water partnership to reduce runoff in Brown County...
