DE PERE -- St. Norbert College's president is leaving.
Brian Bruess says he is taking over as president of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Minnesota this summer.
Bruess has been president of St. Norbert since 2017. Thomas Kunkel, Bruess' predecessor, will serve as interim president for one year, the college says.
During his time at St. Norbert, Bruess was credited with increasing the school's enrollment and diversity; adding measures to help student retention; introducing academic offerings including integrative studies, data analytics and actuarial science; developing a fundraising campaign aimed at doubling St. Norbert's endowment; and leading the college through the COVID-19 pandemic...
