Leadership in the New North Associated Bank names Andrew Harmening as new CEO to succeed Phil Flynn Green Bay Press Gazette GREEN BAY - Associated Bank has selected Andrew J. Harmening to be its new president and CEO beginning April 28.
Harmening will also join the bank's board of directors. He most recently was a senior executive vice president at Huntington Bank in charge of consumer and business banking.
Jay Williams, Associated's board chairman, said the bank was "very fortunate" to hire Harmening, who has a background in team building and digital banking services. He said Harmening's experience at different levels of banking made him the right person to succeed CEO Philip B. Flynn, who previously announced plans to retire at the end of the year.

Elevate Sustainability as an Economic Driver Michels Corporation makes major commitment to local clean energy Alliant Energy Fond du Lac, Wis. – March 10, 2021 – The Fond du Lac area is showing strong support for Alliant Energy’s community solar project. The 1-megawatt solar garden announced in December and planned for the southwest side of the city has received a significant boost from Michels Corporation.
The diversified energy and infrastructure contractor is committing to purchasing 30% of the project’s solar blocks and becoming an anchor tenant. Michels has supported the project from the initial stages and is leasing the solar site to Alliant Energy. With Michels’ subscription, the total amount of solar blocks bought now exceeds 75%, just three months after launching the community solar project.

Saint Vincent de Paul Green Bay hasn’t held a session for their Back2Work program in over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But now facing a demand in the community for workers, they’re bringing the program back. Economic Development Feature Lakeside Park project in Fond du Lac on the path to move forward WLUK FOND DU LAC (WLUK) --Wednesday night gave the Fond du Lac City Council a last chance on deciding the future of a popular park. The council agreed to develop Lakeside Park back in September. But, with continued opposition, and a last chance to end the agreement, the council decided tonight to continue moving forward.
It comes on the eve of the 120-day deadline to look over a feasibility report of the plans.
Joe Moore, Fond du Lac's City Manager said, "it's been determined the projects are feasible on Lakeside Park."
