Expansion and Business Development in the New North Construction underway on modernization project at ThedaCare's Neenah facility WLUK
NEENAH -- Construction on a multi-million-dollar project in Neenah is underway.
ThedaCare announced Monday that work has begun at its Neenah-based Regional Medical Center. The announcement comes more than two months after plans to modernize the facility were unveiled.
The initial construction phase includes moving offices and departments in order to create what ThedaCare calls a "Main Street." Diagnostic outpatient services will be located on the first floor and allow for easier patient access, according to a news release...

Promoting the Regional Brand UWO opens new Cybersecurity Center for Excellence to combat scams WBAY OSHKOSH -- The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has opened a new cybersecurity center, providing new space for research, training, and outreach related to cybersecurity, in partnership with the Wisconsin Cyber Threat Response Alliance.
The Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, located in the Culver Family Welcome Center on the Oshkosh campus, features a live-fire cyber range where users can experience real-world cyber threats in a controlled, educational environment. The center also includes classrooms, a lab, and a small data center.

Leadership in the New North Envision Greater Green Bay hires its first-ever executive director WIS BUSINESS Steve McCarthy, recently retired after nine years as President and CEO of Curative Connections, has accepted the mantle of leadership as Executive Director at Envision Greater Green Bay, a unique local nonprofit with 31 years of community service. McCarthy will be the nonprofit’s first paid executive, with duties related to fund raising, partnership development, and strategic planning. He will devote about 30 hours per week to leading the organization, which is committed to helping area leaders learn how to shape the future of their organization and the community. “For three decades our board has done a terrific job providing leadership and implementing our vision,” said David Wegge, Ph.D., whose two-year term as president is coming to an end. “But now we have a well-established training program in Strategic Foresight, and we’re on the cusp of making a real difference in the Greater Green Bay area.
