It was refurbished and retrofitted in 2013 work included,

To rework a G & L 130 BT serial No. 1501545 to accept the introduction of Ball screws to all axis with Ac servo motors via determined ratio backlash free gearboxes.
Retrofit a Fagor 4 axis cnc control with software interface,
replace the original electrical interface with new equipment to suit the new design to be mounted in a new enclosure.
Rewire the machine to suit the design, in compliance with British standard.
To supply Swarf conveyors front and rear of bed and fit steel sliding bed covers to protect the bed ways.
