| 2015 Yohan Lardy Chenas Les Deschamps Burgundy, France
The new superstar in Beaujolais. His vineyards are striking – with lots of diversity, excellent south facing exposure and picturesque backgrounds. The vines are not trellised and quite old at 40-111 years old. His vines are carefully maintained and are surrounded by the beauty of poppy flowers. All work is manual including harvest with an average yield of 45hl/ha. A nose displaying red berries with a touch of mineral and smokiness. On the palate, the wine is complex with some fine and silky tannins. As expected from his vineyard practices he allows for native yeast fermentation and adds no sulfites. |

2015 Domaine Yohan Lardy Gamay Poppy
Burgundy, France
Poppy is a typical “quench wine” or “bistro wine” in France. The nose has a nice bouquet of floral, fruity and grapy notes. On the palate, the wine is round, soft and fruity, very easy to drink with a well-balanced acidity. Pairs well with cured meat and cheeses, poultry, or sushi.
