Using organic Texas corn, organic winter wheat they grown on their own ranch, and barley from the Pacific Northwest and Canada Garrison Brothers Bourbon reveals a rich velvety nose of caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, nutmeg, and coconut aged 3 years. Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is not necessarily for everyday drinking, It'll set you back a little. It should be enjoyed in moderation, straight-up, or with just a little ice.

butterscotch, vanilla, oak and some light nutmeg on the palate to start. sweet caramel, vanilla and oak lingers, but real character is in the finish-long, smooth, and buttery, like warm caramelized sugar crackling and melting across your tongue.

This reposado offers a great balance between age and youthfulness! Aged 6 months in oak, which gives it a very light color and no real hint of wood. This complex spirit reveals aromatic raw and cooked agave tempered by the warmth of oak aging with spicy notes. A combination equally at home in cocktails and as a sipping tequila making the most versatile of the 123 Organic Tequila styles!

On the palate, there is a lot of fresh agave flavor, a lemony citrus-peel brightness followed by rich salted-caramel and vanilla notes. Overall, a rich reposado offering great variance between spice, fruit, citrus and vegetal notes with a bold agave backbone and delicate minty finish.

“96 POINTS” - Tasting Panel

Using Dark Pumpernickel Rye grown in fields across the Middle West, OYO is a single varietal straight whiskey made from scratch in small batches and barreled in new White American oak casks with strict adherence to old world traditions. The result is a spicy full bodied whiskey that proudly bears the name of the Ohio River Valley. Aged a minimum of 3 years.

OYO's nose is pretty, spicy and not as hot as might be thought given the proof and provenance. Spice hits first on the palate, but vanilla and caramel fight back with the aid of a hint of tannic wood; it all complements the robust rye. The overall impression is sweet but just enough so to balance the spiciness.
