2014 A Los Vinateros Bravos Valle del Itata Canto a Lot Divino Cinsault Sur, Chile
$18 bottle
Leonardo Erazo created “A Los Vinateros Bravos” winery in the heart of the Itata region (south of Chile). Here in Itata the vines thrive in spectacular hills without irrigation. Leonardo doesn’t interfere with the terroir. Winemaking is very simple, using only native yeast and cement tank is used for fermentation and aging. The old non irrigated bush vines have achieved an amazing balance with their environment in Itata. Finding vines that are 100 years old is not rare here! The granitic hills provide an extraordinary environment for root growth resulting in an extremely well balanced vine vigor. This wine reflects the uniqueness of Itata : freshness, natural acidity and low alcohol level.A wine with a strong sense of origin.
