Ernest Remy Blanc de Noirs
Grand Cru Brut Champagne
Champagne, France

With vineyards in the same family since 1883, Ernest Remy is a true Grower Champagne. Exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards on the Montagne de Reims, the grapes used for Ernest Remy Brut Blanc de Noirs are 100% Pinot Noir from the villages of Mailly-Champagne, Verzy and Verzenay.
The Ernest Remy Brut Blanc de Noirs is aged for at least 36 months in natural underground limestone cellars dug under the family's house.
This represents 3 times the minimum required by the champag
ne AOC law. Such long aging optimizes the process and helps create a more complex and mature Champagne. Brilliant golden color. Vinous, long and straight with green apple and pear flavors.

Ernest Remy Rose de Saignee
Grand Cru Champagne
Champagne, France

Only the oldest pinot noir vineyards of the family domaine compose the blend of the Rose de Saignee. With an excellent quality, the grapes gathered during the harvest are picked off without pressing before the low temperature delicate pellicular maceration. In a second time, the saignee allows the flow of juices called goutte. These juices are vilified without the malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the freshness of their red fruits and flowery flavors.

2010 Chateau Labastide Orliac Royal Heritage
Southwest, France

Deeply entrenched in French history, sisters Isabelle and Catherine Orliac are heirs to a property in southwest France that supplied wine to Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette and the Court of France in the 1780s. They're the seventh generation of the Orliac family to inhabit the chateau and continue the family’s winemaking traditions. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat farmed organically and fermented in cement to allow the juice to evolve, it has a lovely rustic purity. Red and black fruits, cassis and deep complex flavors.
The Orliac domain lies in the little-known Côtes du Brulhois, 100 miles southeast of Bordeaux, 60 miles northwest of Toulouse. It was on July 11, 1780, that King Louis XVI signed a letter at Versailles inviting the sisters’ ancestor Jean Orliac to provide the Court of France with his wines. Today the blend is based on the original recipe, thanks to the original signed letter being found in the bottom of a secretary and vouching for the King's benevolence to Jean Orliac—the legend was born!!!
