I’m so excited to be writing to you from the SAND (Science and Non-duality) Conference in San Jose, CA, where I’m honored to be speaking along with Deepak Chopra, Matthew Fox and other thought leaders. :)
Now, on to spiritual circles…
I’ve been attending and facilitating spiritual circles for about 30 years now, and I still remember why I attended my first circle.

I wanted to connect in a spiritual environment where I knew my participation mattered.
Like many of us, I grew up in a religion where I’d been preached to for many years. Quite frankly, I love thoughts and words that inspire. There are times when listening to someone who can inspire me is just what my soul needs.
But also like many of us, I knew there were deep truths inside of me rising to the surface that wanted to be explored in a safe environment with others.

We love to be in a sacred space where our thoughts, feelings, energy and experiences matter too.
|
|
We come together to explore:
- what it means to be a woman in her sacred feminine essence
- what it means to be a man in his sacred masculine essence
- how to love one another in the midst of conflict
- how to heal our deepest, oldest wounds
- our true power as spiritual beings
- our mystical natures
- and so much more
We create circles to celebrate:
- our entry into adulthood or elderhood, or even into life itself as we honor new-borns
- initiations into new phases of our lives
- new partnerships
- new commitments
- transition to the other side

Circles are usually intimate experiences, where you discover what it is like to be received and Held in love, without judgment, and accepted for being your authentic self.
|
|
In circles, we take off our masks, open our hearts, and speak truthfully to one another.
Something magical happens when we allow ourselves to speak and pray fully from our hearts, without censoring our words…
|
|
We discover there is a very wise person deep inside, who knows his/her true course to fulfillment.
|
|
|
As a facilitator of circles, I have discovered there is no greater satisfaction than knowing I created a safe sanctuary in which someone touched the wise one within themselves.

This guided meditation takes you into the reflections that relationships provide.
In circles, we become intimately aware of how we are reflections of each other in all of our relationships.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons circles have been held for thousands of years.
