| What We Are Called to Hold |
|
In a woman's or a man's life, we are called to Hold many things:
1. Her/his own emotional pains and joys;
2. The emotional ups and downs of her/his family members;
3. Her/his dreams and the dreams of those she/he loves;4. The loss of loved ones; 5. Abuses she/he has experienced and abuses she/he has committed; 6. Her/his fulfillment in service to her/his community; 7. Those she/he serves; 8. As well as the stresses and beauty of Mother Earth.
Personally, for the past few weeks, I've felt compelled to hold my frustration with those that create and distribute toxic chemicals.
I know in my mind that one has to be pretty disconnected from the Mother and nature to create and distribute chemicals that harm and kill, yet emotionally I become very frustrated when I experience illness I attribute to those chemicals.
My frustration is even more heightened when I see other people suffer as a result of that exposure.
I'd love to tell you I have so deeply embodied the Sacred Feminine qualities of empathy and compassion that I feel complete understanding for those that choose to consciously develop harmful chemicals.
But, I'm not that evolved yet. I get there in moments of deep meditation, when I enter and become the womb of the Mother herself.
And so I return over and over to that sacred sanctuary until I fully embody empathy and compassion in every waking moment for the creators and their chemicals. I know then that I am free...
.... and healing is occurring.
Once again I return in deep gratitude for the loving Womb that heals us all. —Reverend Misa
