Scholarships Available for Young Adults

The deadline for scholarship applications for young adults (ages 18-35 ONLY) who would like to attend the 2019 Ecumenical Advocacy Days for Global Peace with Justice has been extended to February 15, 2019.
The scholarships, which are based on need, only apply to partial or full waivers of the registration fee, but will not apply to housing, transportation or food costs (aside from the lunches included with the registration fee). EAD has a limited number of scholarships available. There may also be additional scholarships available based on denominational affiliation.
To apply for a scholarship, click here. Be sure to include a brief paragraph about the reason why you would like to attend Ecumenical Advocacy Days' National Gathering and why you are applying for scholarship assistance. Awardees will be notified by March 8, 2019.

Participants in the 2019 Ecumenical Advocacy Days for Global Peace with Justice, April 5-8, participants will have dozens of workshops to choose from this year on important issues facing our nation and world. Through skill-building and issues workshops participants will be equipped with information and tools to be faith advocates and to fight for justice in their communities as well as in our nation and world. You will be inspired and encouraged at this powerful conference, which will have advocacy training, ecumenical worship, skills-building and issues workshops, and much more!

On Monday, April 8, 2019, EAD participants will meet with their U.S. House and Senate representatives as well as Congressional staffers to discuss important legislation affecting our communities and nation. We hope you will join us for our Lobby Day. The EAD Leadership Team sets up the appointments on your behalf with your U.S. State Senators and House Representative. Training and talking points are also provided. Plan to attend all of Ecumenical Advocacy Days, April 5-8, 2019, and stay for the Lobby Day on Capitol Hill on Monday, April 8th. You'll be glad you did!
