Advanced Mentor SeriesMethylation Pathways with Dr Thibaud d'Oultremont May 30 and June 6 This class is 2 days. It will run Sunday May 30 and June 6. It is 10 AM – 3 PM CENTRAL Daylight time. The time includes breaks and a 1 hour lunch. We are offering it at just $100 USD for both days.
This class will put the Metylation pathway in its broad context (food – body systems – blood – cells – inside the cell, etc.), give an overview of the implications that the methylation pathway has on other systems (detoxification, neurotransmittors, blood cell production, DNA formation or mutation, etc.). We will then dive into the working of the methylation pathway itself. We will test each others enzymes, cofactors, etc. and we will see how we might be able to deal with some of our own issues, slowing down or accelerating the working of some enzymes – epigenetics at its best!
More than 50% of people have a gene issue in their methylation pathway. More than 200 enzymes are impacted. A lot of symptoms follow while aging: Chronic diseases, cancer, pain, food and touch intolerances, myalagia , fatigue, insomnia, mood istability, etc. etc. NB is an extraordinary tool that Medical Doctors don’t have. We can take advantage of it even more if we can test for enzymes that do not work optimally, know what those enzymes require to boost them or to slow them down and test again. The body will tell you, but you have to ask… the right question.
A relatively common issue in the methylation pathway has to do with the genes coding for an enzyme dealing with vitamin B12. If you ask the body if it wants more B12, the body might say yes, but it would likely say no as soon as it receives it. There is a clear reason for that. We will see how to deal with that, and many other situations.
