It’s 2022 and by the blessings of Allah the NZF team has been able to continue community-based initiatives around Australia through our NZF Community Programs.


Now, we would like to extend this invitation to you and your community circles to help us revive the yearly Zakat Tours leading into Ramadan.


About Zakat Tours

 

The Zakat Tours were established back in 2017 which provided an opportunity for the Muslim community in Australia to come together and educate their local circles about the effect of Zakat for each of us - in this world and the next insha Allah.


In these tours, we can organise:

  • Workshops that cover the basics of Zakat, its blessings and impact on us as individuals, and on the Muslim community around us. We also provide step-by-step instructions to help with and teach Zakat calculation for individuals, families and businesses.

  • Information sessions (including sisters-only sessions) for the community to address specific topics surrounding Zakat, the need for Zakat locally and overseas, Zakat eligibility, calculation and more. We can also arrange small group sessions online or at a chosen location for their comfort.

  • QandA sessions with the community to answer questions and concerns on Zakat distribution and calculation, our local services, community work and more.


 

Interested to host?


We are looking to collaborate with local Australian mosques, Islamic organisations, community centres, individuals, families and even local halaqah groups to work with all around Australia.

 

If you are someone (or know of someone) who would be interested in co-hosting this FREE and highly-rewarding initiative in teaching the community about Zakat, it involves 4 simple steps:

  1. Submit expression of interest below 👇

  2. An NZF team member will contact you to discuss topics, date & timings.

  3. We will provide any design collateral to communicate the event to your audience.

  4. Host free Zakat Tour workshops directly with Abu Muneer (NZF CEO), Munir Abdella (NZF National Manager) or any of our NZF representatives in your state.

 We have limited spots available starting from February, so make sure to book your Zakat Tour session early!
