Subject: Friend What assistance would you ask for?

Imagine you had to apply for Zakat

Assalamualaikum Friend

As we are living the 23rd night of Ramadan, we want to share a recent case. While this is not a very common occurrence, sadly it does happen more often that it should.

Imagine you are an elderly parent and you, along with your spouse

👉 Make a trip to Australia to visit your son & his wife. Two months later, they are kicking you out of their house.

 👉 You can’t speak English.

👉 You've applied for asylum seeker and you don’t have a permanent visa.

👉 You have no income and no place to live.

👉 You don’t know what to do next and are looking at being homeless.

You break down crying thinking about what you are going to go. Your son calls various organisations to see who can help and gets referred to NZF.

You are asked to fill out an application form for assistance.

In this blessed night, have a go at thinking about what you would ask for, if you were in this situation. Click below.

I ask that you keep all those struggling both in Australia and around the world in your duas during this blessed night.
