Subject: Friend, your need for reward is greater than the one who receives from you

Rethinking the concept of giving!
What if your need to give in sadaqah is greater than the recipient’s need to receive?

Assalamu Alaykum Friend

We know that at this time of the year the barrage of emails can be daunting: charities trying to outdo each other to appeal to the generosity of Muslims.

But that’s only if one thinks of charity and the concept of giving as a burden.

One of our sisters said something powerful long ago that we want to share with you. It was simple, beautiful, succinct: “What if the one giving is more in need of the reward than the one receiving is in need of provision? (because Allah will look after them anyway)”?

That’s right: what if our ability to shed sin, to seek Allah’s pleasure, is the more urgent matter for all of us?

It's for this reason that our Ramadan Daily Giving is so powerful, and why so many people have been asking us about it. You can:
  • Set up recurring daily payments of any amount you wish
  • These are paid automatically from your card daily
  • Your contributions can start on day 1 of Ramadan and end on the last day.
Rasool Allah (ﷺ) said that consistency is the most loved of things by Allah (SWT) when it comes to good deeds. Be of those that this hadith describes this Ramadan.

Wassalam
