Assalamu Alaykum Friend

You are probably aware of the Hearts for Palestine program that we have been running for the past few months to support those who are arriving in Australia from Gaza.

For the expected 860 Individuals from Gaza we estimate a total amount of $4.2 million that will be needed to help settle them in Australia for a period of 6 months.

Summary of where we are at

Total needed: $4.2 million
Funds secured through local Zakat already received: $2.3 million
Funds received so far from the fundraising dinners for local assistance: $450k
Balance needed: $1.45 million

We urge you to donate your Zakat and Sadaqah towards our Hearts for Palestine program in these blessed nights.

Fundraising Dinner Highlights

In the months of February and March, we conducted three fundraising dinners in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane resulting in a total pledged amount of around $1.4 million Alhamdulillah. This will be split 50-50 for assisting those arriving here in Australia as part of the NZF Hearts for Palestine program and the other half assisting those in Gaza through our partners.
