| As we have been updating you through the course of 2020, it has been an extremely busy year for us. We received nearly TWICE the number of cases as we did in 2019 and we have distributed $2,164,265.73 in Zakat, Alhamdulillah.
We have adapted to new ways of working due to COVID restrictions and Alhamdulillah, I can confidently say that we have come out of 2020 stronger than ever before as a team. A variety of measures have been put into place this year to better support the Australian Muslim community by ensuring that: - Our case workers are supported to assess & respond to cases more efficiently
- Evaluating our case management strategies
- Reviewing our distribution process

We are now a much more agile & responsive organisation than we were before.

Through 2020, we've also accelerated the launch of our community programs to tackle the root cause of cases longer term. We now have three programs running that you can find out more about on our website below. Please do help us spread the word and increase awareness of these programs so people in our community who might benefit from these can apply.

| Healing Forward Program is designed to support victims of Domestic and Family Violence, and their loved ones, beyond just financial aid and by addressing one of the greatest challenges faced by the Australian Muslim community.

| Brighter Futures Program is designed to support our Yateem (orphans)and their mothers/guardians by creating services that facilitate their education, growth and development to ensure they can progress and enjoy life like other children.

| Breaking Barriers Program is designed to support Australian Muslims living with Disability by advocating for accessibility to regular facilities while providing resources, support and a helping hand to Muslims with Special Needs to thrive in the Australian community.

Our community programs are only possible through the support of our partners.
You can become a Program Partner, either as an individual or an organisation, by financially supporting our programs, through Zakat or Sadaqah.
You can also become a Service Partner by providing essential services such as Quran classes, counselling, mentoring, tutoring etc. for our programs.

- Ability to consolidate and download tax receipts for the financial year (Yes, we've been hearing you!)
- A digital food voucher issue & redemption system
- Programs Beyond Zakat to assist those most vulnerable in our community
- Partnering with more organisations & mosques to continue driving step change in our community
- Quarterly updates with our donors to share & get feedback on planned initiatives
