Subject: Friend Something I just thought I'd check

 

Assalamu Alaykum Friend,


We are in the 21st night of Ramadan by the Will of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. As I read all the messages to donate Sadaqah, increase in prayers and good deeds in general, I thought I'd quickly check our system to see if there were people in need that we might be forgetting in our prayers today.


These are five notes that I checked from people who have approached NZF for help just TODAY. We have had 33 people reach out in just the last week.

"assalamualaikum, during the pandemic cover-19 I just get unemployment 3 weeks ago . now on I'm keep looking a job around . I can't afford to pay rental and buy Groceries . obviously I can't send money to my 3 little kids at home as well."

"As a single mum and because of COVID-19 i lost my job and currently have no income at all as i am not eligible for any JOB SEEKERS and JOB KEEPERS payment. Also have not paid rent for more than 1 month and a half. Please contact me if you could help me."

"Assalamualaikum wbth,I am a single mother and have 5 children. I need some foods voucher and little money for buy asian groceries at ASEAN Shop because in the coming couple weeks we will celebrate eid mubarak,and my income centrelink payment is not enough. I used my income centrelink payment to pay rent house. Before this i can asking help from St vincent de paul but now because of convid19,all Office closed. That’s why i asking help from zakat. Please help me Thank you."

"I need help for my rent, bills, food, food voucher please. My payment is Status Resolution Support Services payment .my rent is $1400 privet rent . I don't have visa."

"Salaam, I am jobless at the moment and landlord wants to evict me. Need money to pay Rental. Not sure if anyone can help."

Friend Don't ignore the call of your brothers & sisters here in Australia. (The above are all sisters by the way!)
