Assalamu Alaykum Friend

You may have noticed our "Healing Forward" program that was launched recently, to go beyond assistance through Zakat, and look at a more holistic view to tackle issues due to Domestic Violence in our community in the long term.

As part of this initiative, we have partnered with Dr Nada Ibrahim and Sr Summayyah Sadiq-Ojibara, both of whom are perhaps not strangers to many of us in the community due to their active work in the advocacy of support of many causes, domestic violence being one of them.

Join us tomorrow in what is guaranteed to be an insightful, frank & open discussion on the realities of Domestic Violence in our community.

Bring along your questions, or simply just join to listen in and be part of a community that cares about understanding the issues in our own backyard, and slowly but surely, we will come together to become a stronger community in the future insha Allah.
