The story of Abid And Farah
We want to share with you an example of just the sorts of people your Zakat and Sadaqah given through us are helping. Take the story of Farah and Abid. They came to Melbourne last year. Farah was here to study on a student visa and Abid, her husband was on a dependent visa and working casually in a restaurant A few months later, Farah found out she was pregnant and while they were grateful for the blessing, they were also worried about how they would manage the cost along with Farah's studies. Nevertheless they started saving as much money as they could from Abid's income. However, when COVID-19 hit, their world was turned upside down. Eventually, Abid struggled to find work and Farah had to work out a payment plan with the hospitals to be able to ensure her baby was had safely and soundly. Their case came to us - here is how we helped.
By donating tonight, you will be answering the call of need by people like Farah. And potentially earning the reward of doing so for more than a 1000 months. Don’t miss out.
