When I left Colorado and moved back to Oregon in 2016, I really didn't know what I was going to do next. I was following my intuition.
I found myself looking for a little bit of land where I could have a big garden, more space to enjoy the outdoors and maybe get a horse someday.
When I found the property I now call home, it was a run down old farm. The land needed healing. The house needed a septic system.
Yet I felt called to it.
Right outside my home office widow was a dirt patch full of weeds. I wanted to make it beautiful.
That dirt patch is where my lavender dream began with 400 plants. This year another 1234 plants went into the ground with the help of friends in the farm field to the east of the barn.
I never imagined this is what would be birthed from my dream. Now neighbors tell me they take the long way home to smell the lavender as they ride by.
