I went for my regular exercise and walk this morning and thought I had to share this with you.
I have been feeling a bit low the past two or three days and my mindset has been playing the game.
Our brain is designed to protect us and make sure we survive.
It looks out for danger, for things that can harm us. That is why it is so easy for our brain to focus on negative things.
The issue here is that we no longer live in caves and we don't need to look out for animals that might kill us. Our lifestyles have evolved a lot but not the way our brain works.
It takes constant work to train our brains to be in a better state where the negative thoughts don't run the show.
When we have high energy is easier to keep a more positive mindset but as soon we are a bit low the animal brain kicks in and we start with the self-doubt, the fear, the low confidence... you name it!
What I want you to be aware of is that those thoughts are not you!
The negative thoughts don't dictate who you are and what kind of results you have if you manage them in the right way.
If you allow them to get you into a spiral of negativity that doesn't let you move forward then they will affect the type of results you have in your business and life.
If, on the other hand, you deal with them in the right way, acknowledging that those thoughts are not who you are and let them pass, you will be able to quickly let them go and come back to a more positive state of mind.
Don't believe those thoughts! Don't believe the lies your mind tells you on those days!
Observe them, don't attach to them and trust yourself always.
