Hey Friend,
Each time someone we love leaves this reality for another, we’re given a gift. On Sunday morning, my sweet father-in-law took his final breath.
I had the gift of being by his side and witnessing his journey home. It was hard—and not always peaceful—but deeply beautiful.
This week, I’ve shifted my schedule to make space for all the emotions and to be present with my family.
One of the few appointments I kept was yesterday’s "Advanced Class" with representatives from five villages in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement.
It was another incredible gift—sharing love and insights on “The Spirit of God and the Spirit of Man” with guest teacher Dr. Dicken Bettinger.
You might enjoy listening to the session (English translated into Swahili). It is rich with feeling and simple, meaningful metaphors pointing to the 3 Principles.
In Africa, we speak about ‘God’ because it resonates with the people. In the Western world, within our 3P communities, we talk about the Principle of Mind.
No matter what you call the intelligence behind life or the all-oneness, I hope you’ll feel the Spirit we’re all pointing toward.
Much love, Shailia ✨💖
