“It was the first weekend of summer. It was a very hot afternoon and my brother and I went over for a swim. I kept diving in over and over again. Being yelled at to stop didn’t deter me. I stood on the edge of the pool and the perfectionist in me thought, ‘how can I make this the perfect dive?’… It seemed like any other dive until I went to swim up to the surface and I realised I couldn’t move…”

“I made the album and the whole time I’m making the album I’m thinking ‘who’s going to buy this?’ and I thought Oh, well I’ll just make it and no-one will buy it, but I’ll have it and might be able to put it on my CV’. I was really surprised that people did actually buy it! I was shocked when I was nominated for an ARIA. I don’t have the proper training, I love working with kids, I love sitting on the floor playing clapping games with eight-year-olds” |

“As well as feeling much more in control of my life, the daily tasks have given me a sense of ’I can do anything’ so whatever task comes my way, I just break it down into smaller tasks and get on with it. Nothing seems as hard anymore. I can do anything” - JC, My 15 Minutes Member
