We all have them: dreaded tasks that we just can’t seem to motivate ourselves to get to.
Maybe it’s your tax paperwork. Maybe it’s some filing. Maybe it’s a difficult phone call. Maybe it’s several of these kinds of things.

Get Into Action! - Open or save the attached template.
- In the left-hand column, write a list of the tasks that you’re studiously avoiding and making excuses about.
- In the right-hand column, write a list of ‘carrots’ or ‘rewards’ that you will give yourself as soon as the tasks are done. These need not be extravagant (think of it as an adult version of a child’s sticker reward chart, where the rewards are small for each achievement, with a more significant reward to celebrate the completion of everything on the list). Remember to save your document - you can also upload the completed version to your online portal.
- As you achieve these things and celebrate over the coming hours, days or weeks, let us know about it on Facebook.
