The Chin-Up is unquestionably
a great back exercise...one of the best. And it's one of the
basic movement patterns for your back training. If you want a great
back, you've got to
do chins.
That being said, the
Chin-Up can get boring, especially if you do a lot of them...and
locking yourself into the same position on the bar can put stress
on the shoulder joints
over time.
That's where THIS version of the Chin-Up comes in...
I call it the Barbell-End
Neutral Grip "Fat" Grip Chin-Up...and if you work
at it, it'll not
only hit your back strongly, it will blow up your grip strength
FAST.
