Scoring Secrets of Literature Examinations

Poems and Prose are fun reads until it comes to the examinations. Students discover that just understanding a poem is no longer enough to score well for the examinations. They often get overwhelmed with the annotation techniques and do not know the best way to craft their answers.

The Lower Secondary Literature series aim to tackle these issues by going through literary devices through hands-on practices, guided by experienced ex-MOE teachers. Students are also taught in-depth analysis of poems and prose in order to create effective and sound critiques of each piece.

Primary One students are required to draw models for their Mathematics assignments. Some may fear and lack the confidence to know which model drawing techniques to use. In this workshop, parents and their children will learn part-whole and comparison mathematical modelling. Parents will also learn to grasp the fundamentals of model drawing techniques, to better guide their children.
