Honesty is Good, and We Desperately Need It Right Now
I've been taught to be kind to others and not hurt them. I've been taught to walk away from a fight and to solve problems in an adult way by discussing them. I was taught to be honest and open with others. I was told that lying was wrong.
Other things I have been taught:
Love is the strongest force, and hate is destructive.
War doesn't solve anything, ever. It should be avoided at all costs.
Peace is something that every human on this planet wants and needs, and our leaders should pursue peace, not war.
I was taught to turn the other cheek, to love my enemies, and to treat others as I wanted to be treated.
We are all equal, and racism does not belong in our society.
I have an honest declaration for you, and I hope you'll agree with me:
War can never be a solution. Revenge is never justified. Treating others as inferior and denying others the same freedoms you enjoy—what is that? I think I saw that back in the 1940s.
No, we cannot have selective honesty and selective justice; it applies to all.
Please feel free to respond to me with your thoughts.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.”
-- Albert Einstein
I hope you have a great weekend, and I hope you'll let me know your thoughts and your response to my message this time around.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Peace to all of you.
