What is Self-Compassion?
Self-compassion involves three core elements: Self-Kindness vs. Self-Judgment: Instead of berating yourself for mistakes, offer yourself understanding and support. Common Humanity vs. Isolation: Recognize that everyone experiences struggles and imperfections. You're not alone in your challenges. Mindfulness vs. Over-Identification: Observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment, rather than getting swept away by them.
