Hey,
I saw this thing on Facebook and I wanted to shoot you a quick email to let you know about this while it’s still fresh on my mind.
Yes, it’s something really juicy... and also insanely relevant to your goal to build self esteem and confidence! Not to mention the message is written by the one and only Ernest Hemingway.
Check this screenshot above out: I have censored the names!
Great message, right?
I saw this on Instagram and immediately thought of emailing you because there’s such a
valuable teaching moment present right there!
I really enjoyed this deep and meaningful message because it shows the purest values that we all have to some degree within us. Some more than others.
It also should offer comfort to those of us that have been wounded by life and its diffculties, challenges and trauma.
Recently, there have been many of you who said that you needed help with being true to who you are. Many people want us to be a certain way or to think the same as everyone else. They want you to conform to their values and wishes. But, as I have often said, the ONLY way to live and be happy is to be an honest and open version of YOU.
I want to help you to be that best version of yourself and to have confidence in everything you do. Well, there are dangers in this and that’s where I can help.
Take a look at my latest post that's so going to help you:
How to Be Less Critical of Yourself
Don’t fear exposing who you are to the world, yes you may be more vulnerable, but you will be able to live your values truthfully each day. In the future you will be able to look back at your life with a smile and know that you lived your life, not the life that others wanted for you.
Others who are not so brave will have to live with regrets and the pain of knowing that they had an opportunity to see the beauty of the world but didn’t take it. They had the opportunity to speak the truth but instead they hid from it. Instead of sacrifice for others, they acted selfishly. And worst of all, so many avoid risks and choose the safe path to avoid rejection or failure.
This Instagram post with the wonderful words of Hemingway stopped me in my tracks today! I hope the words and my interpretation of them has helped you in some way.
It reminded me that we make things so difficult for ourselves when things can actually be so easy!
Like how I reinvented myself when I was in the pits of depression and low self esteem, and became an author, teacher and life coach with a mission in life.
Everything is possible! Let’s do this together.
Signing off,
