How to be Happy

Hi again, it’s Karl from More-SelfEsteem.com, and this week I want to talk to you about an important topic. So answer this:

Are you happy?

Many people struggle with the answer and I wonder what you answered. Today, assuming you want to be happy, or happier, let’s think about what it means and then talk about what you can do to become happy in your life, no matter what.

First, happiness is not based on what you have or don’t have. It is not based on being successful, although that has an effect. So what is it and where does it come from?

It comes from how you behave and what you do. Therefore, being unhappy is doing what you don’t enjoy.

We all have to do some things we don’t like, maybe at least for a short time. Your plan should be to do what you love and in a way you enjoy. First, be aware that life is an amazing miracle and learn to appreciate that.

Check out this brand new post: The Secret of Happiness (please share it on social media).

Life is full of possibilities and new adventures which only you refuse to take. No excuses, or blaming others for your life and unhappiness, the cause of your unhappiness is you. Take responsibility for this.

So what should you do about it? Don’t accept you are powerless, you can be happy today if you choose to change your way of thinking and your behaviour and if you take some risks. What would you like to do? Simply decide to do it and don’t wait or put it off, do it now!

One limitation to what I have said, it’s very important that your decision to do what you would like to do should not hurt anyone else.

That’s all for this week, be back again very soon,

Have a happy week,

Karl Perera
