Last time out we discussed the importance of giving. However, giving
can be tiring and can drain you of energy if you’re not careful.
This week’s message is all about staying energetic.
What energizes you?
Art, history, a walk, being out in nature, sports like skiing or
cycling, listening to your favourite music…?
Work out what it is
that boosts your energy and try to do more of that.
I think that a big
part of your energy level is your psychology (how you feel and
think). Try to turn your thoughts to things you love or find
positive.
Taking time to
relax, meditate or switch off is important as the mind needs to
recharge as well as the body. Sport or exercise is good for both the
body and the mind and will relax you as long as you don’t overdo
it.
One word of caution,
stay away from those who stress you out and have some fun with those
who make you laugh.
Make sure you take a
holiday regularly, to recharge and relax! A vacation is a wonderful
opportunity to switch off but you need to do it right….
