It’s the start of
another year…
So Happy New Year to
you and all your family! Thanks for reading my messages.
I’m not normally a
fan of making resolutions for the new year. People make silly ones
that they break within a few days. But...I do think it is a great
idea to take some time to reflect on your past year, and look forward
to 2019.
With this in mind,
here are 3 suggestions for changes you could make for 2019. Changes
you should keep to, and your year ahead will be much better. So here
we go…
1. Don’t accept
others talking down to you or constantly criticising you.
You deserve respect
from others, demand it. Defend yourself. If you can remove these
people from your life or spend less time with them.
2. Expect things to
improve or to go well.
A positive attitude
and hope is vital if you are to be successful in 2019. This positive
expectation changes everything, your behaviour, your actions, how you
look and speak and this will change your reality for the better.
3. Be kind and
giving to others. It is a cruel world with lots of pain and
difficulty for everyone, helping others makes your world a little
better and the light you shine on others will reflect back on you.
Make sure you help others without expecting anything in return.
There you are, three
things to live by in 2019. If you keep to these your self esteem and
happiness will increase and you will respect yourself much more.
