Hi Friend,

Do you make mistakes?

Of course you do! Everyone does, don't they?

Mistakes are not a problem unless you see them like that. A
common problem I see a lot is that many people make a mistake and
let it bring them down. They allow their self esteem to drop.

Let me ask you is your self esteem connected to how successful
you think you are and do you demand high standards? What happens
when you make a mistake? How do you react? How does it affect
you?

Having a healthy sense of self esteem means that you accept who
you are with ALL your imperfections. Accepting does not mean
saying to yourself "That's how I am" and then doing nothing to
change..

The difference that makes a person great is the ability to accept
mistakes, admit them and determine to learn from them.

If how you feel about yourself depends on everything going well
and not failing, and if you see mistakes as failures then you are
trapped.

Understand the value of mistakes and the fact that there is
something positive to betaken from almost every mistake. Very few
mistakes are fatal and there is always hope that next time if you
keep trying you'll succeed.

So don't think about your mistakes and never regret them. Think
about what you learned. Mistakes are just steps along the path of
life. It is important only how you recover from them and move on.

I hope this message helps you this week,
Take care,

Until next week,
Karl Perera
