Hi!

I'm back today with a lesson I've again been reminded of by life...

As you know by now, I am no longer in charge of Moreselfesteem.com but have gone on a different path and sold the website. However, I still want to continue to be of help to you.

What has happened this past week to me has opened my eyes to a major lesson.

What happened is very sad so prepare yourself...

My beautiful boy, Lucky (my two year old cat) has died. He was lost for several days after leaving the house and strangely for him didn't come back for four days. We were very worried but figured he'd return.

After some days we checked the video camera recordings for our house and area. Lucky would not be coming back! He had been attacked by four dogs and they had chased him into our garden where he had fought back and lost his precious life.

We saw on the camera only the final part, (the guy working for us saw the whole thing), a dog had carried my precious boy away in its mouth.

I have been heartbroken as you can imagine!

Now the lesson. I tried to focus not on my loss, which is huge, but the fact that I was blessed to have him in my life for two years. I enjoyed every moment, every touch and every interaction with him. I cannot believe he's gone. I also believe I will one day see him again. I have to believe this.

So, my message to you today is to enjoy every moment with your special loved ones and don't forget each moment is precious. Time is limited and we need to do what we can to show our love and tell the other person how we feel about their presence in our lives.
