As All Saints’ Day dawns upon us again, Morbie is taking time to recall the deeds of all the righteous departed—the many saintly things those who have gone ahead did in their lifetimes and how we can live up to their legacies. All of us have “saintliness” in us, whether we know it or not, and this November is a perfect time to remember it. We can try to live up to the potential for virtue that exists in all of us. All we need to do is look at the examples the departed have provided us and then reflect on how we can better follow in their footsteps.
