| Dear Friends, We are truly grateful for your steadfast support, which continues to have a profound and lasting impact on our mission. Your generosity enables us to provide essential services and resources to individuals with disabilities and their families. | | | | Summer Get-Aways
Our summer camps were a resounding success, thanks to the tireless efforts of our dedicated volunteer staff. The Maher's played a crucial role in ensuring that all our camps had the necessary technology, supplies, and equipment. We couldn't have done it without the support of our many volunteer staff along with our local Summer Get Away Coordinators:Thomas & Angelia Carpenter, Joe & Ann Trementozzi, Mike & Kim Ferguson, Charlene & Steve Phipps, Duane & Tracie Corll, Kusum Neal, Debbie Chivers, and Jonathan Spink.
As we look ahead to Summer 2025, we are already planning some great activities. We are excited about the future God has in store for this ministry. | | | Beyond the Summer
Our missionaries and MA's are committed to serving individuals with disabilities year-round. Tracie Corll is creating valuable resources for churches, including podcasts and video trainings, to help them develop strong disability ministries. Nettamara Doak is providing access to faith-based resources in audio, large print, and braille, making it easier for those with visual impairments and blindness to find more helpful materials. Nilda Rivera is spearheading support for people with disabilities in Spanish-speaking congregations by coordinating the translation of church training materials.
Local chapters and church gatherings are also in full swing, with meetings, fundraising events, and other social activities. Missionaries Joe and Ann Trementozzi, along with MA's Charlene Phipps, Kim Ferguson, and Lori Bullington, are just a few of our leaders who are instrumental in helping develop our local Chapter Ministries. We are currently producing the Word Walk Curriculum for 2025, designed specifically to help Chapter Participants explore the Bible together. | | Individual Support
Missionaries and MA's offer individual support, including respite care, church assistance, volunteer service, and simply a listening ear. They also mentor individuals, like the MA who is using the New Believers Handbook to help a blind believer disciple someone new. They connect with those in need through various methods, including in-person visits, phone calls, email, zoom, and more. |
Your prayers and financial contributions are essential to our mission. You provide faith-based support, ease the lives of those impacted by disabilities, and help us "Make the Cross Accessible." Thank you for partnering with us! | | |
