Roughly 65 million people in America and over 1 billion people worldwide have a disability. 1 in 5 families are impacted by disability. Over the past 40 years, Special Touch Ministry has been providing faith-based support to the needs that arise in the disability community. By joining us, you will be showing people with disabilities that they are valuable, that they matter!

People with disabilities need to know that they are not accidents or mistakes, that God loves them, and that God has a plan and purpose for their lives. After the excitement of Summer Get Away is over, individuals return back to their community with a new awareness of what God can do in their life and a renewed commitment to fulfilling God's purpose. Special Touch Chapters, working together with the local church, are there to provide an ongoing disability-friendly connection, spiritual support, mentorship, and fellowship.
