Subject: Touching Lives: Each Person Has a Unique Story to Tell

Special Touch Ministry programs annually benefit hundreds of individuals. Each person has a unique story to share with their families, caregivers, foster homes, schools, group homes, workshops, day centers, churches, and friends.

Through the ongoing operations of our Summer Get Away Program, as we lead one person to Christ, we also impact their families, friends, and local communities. The previous Summer Get Away Season witnessed several people embracing salvation and experiencing life-changing transformations.

One remarkable instance involved a man who, amidst pandemic-induced displacement, found his way back to the STM Summer Get Away Program. Feeling lost, isolated, and rejected by God, he rediscovered God's love and rededicated his life to Christ. His testimony profoundly influenced another young man, leading him to accept Christ for the first time.

We also minister to volunteer staff. Last year was life-changing for Michelle, to be able to be herself as she served others. The whole experience as a volunteer staff at the STM Summer Get Away was transformative encouraging her, and even helping to motivate her to continue on her journey of seeking to get credentialed.

We are dedicated to nurturing the next generation to embrace disability ministry. The Summer Get Away Caregiver-In-Training (CIT) Program is designed for youth aged 14-17 to introduce them to the fulfillment of serving individuals with disabilities, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

We extend encouragement and assistance to caregivers and families, through various means, such as phone or online meetings, forums, local STM Chapters, church respite programs, and other initiatives.

Through prayers and financial support along with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our ministry impact extends far beyond the visible - touching the lives of thousands. We couldn't do this without you. Thank you.
