The end of Summer can be bittersweet. As reports are coming in from the last Get Aways of the 2023 season, we realize, it has been another incredible year.


Souls were saved. New friendships were made. Lives were changed. God has been moving.


The end of the season brings little time for reflection here at the STM National Office, as plans have already begun for Summer 2024. Ministry continues to happen even after the season is over.


Here are just a few of the programs STM operates all year:

Disability Friendly Church


STM would like to equip every church, through partnership, to operate at the highest level of Disability Ministry success and friendliness. Services provided by the Disability Friendly Church (DFC) Program are designed to help achieve this goal.

From evangelism to discipleship, children through senior adult, this program is designed to serve and empower those with visual impairments and blindness.

STM ONLINE COMMUNITY

is a safe place where individuals impacted by disability or sight loss can share their concerns, struggles, pain, and triumphs, and encourage each other, receive prayer and gain spiritual insights. Regular features of monthly meetings are discussions on topics of interest to those who live with disability, Bible studies and prayer. Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month.

CHAPTER GATHERINGS

One of the greatest challenges for families who have a member with special needs is the isolation they feel. Special Touch Chapters gatherings address this problem by providing effective faith-based ministry to individuals who have disabilities and those who love and care for them.
