New! Church Lending Resources

Braille is a vital means of communication for people who are blind. Learning braille means that people with visual impairments and blindness can enjoy the many benefits of reading.

Learning braille from a young age helps with literacy, as braille is a much better way to understand punctuation, grammar and spelling than audio. Reading can also boost communication skills, impart good values, enhance creativity, and more.

Special Touch Ministry if now offering a way for young readers with blind or visual impairments to practice their skills and learn more about God by lending faith-based children's books in Braille format to churches.

The current resources are for children birth to 10 years of age.

These materials are in a specialized format for those who are blind or visually impaired. Some books are in contracted braille only. Others are in twin read, allowing a visual reader and braille reader to read together.

There is no cost for using this resource.
