It doesn't take much to minister to others...

Listening to people, praying for someone, sending a thank you message or sharing your story... many times it's the little things that can make a big difference in the lives of those impacted by disability.

Day after day, STM leadership, staff, volunteers, and guests share grateful testimonies of God using little moments in their life to minister. Here are just a few examples:

Ministering to the children of AGUSM Pastors and Missionaries is such an honor. When these same children are those with special needs, it takes it up a notch. For example, a kid that could not sit still was given a fidget toy to help him calmly listen to the message. One boy who uses a wheelchair was given assistance to be able to sit with the other kids on the floor. You should have seen how it brought joy to his heart. ~Tommy

I just love the way God puts people in my path. I had the privilege to minister to a mom who was feeling very overwhelmed by this life. She has a son and foster son who have extra needs. As we prayed together in the store, the Holy Spirit encouraged her. ~Kim

I had the opportunity to have lunch with one of our guests' Mom. She had been feeling discouraged. As we sat and talked, it was obvious that her life had recently been overwhelming. She appreciated this adult time without distractions. I was happy to be able to encourage her, love on her and remind her that she is not alone. ~Charlene

A young man at our church followed promptings of the Holy Spirit to purchase some toy Braille cars. The day he gave them to me, we were able to bless a young girl who is deafblind. A couple weeks later we were able to gift another one to a young boy who is deafblind. We plan to use the rest in Christmas shoeboxes made for children who are visually impaired or blind. ~Nettamara
