After the excitement of Summer Get Away is over, guests return to their homes, families, and communities with a new awareness of what God can do in their lives.

Some of them return to a place without a Christian influence. As they develop their relationship with Christ, they have an overwhelming need to "plug into" a support system of believers. Special Touch Chapters were created to meet this need.

Special Touch Chapters are committed to establishing and maintaining a ministry of service, support, and evangelism for people with physical or intellectual disabilities, their families, caregivers, and all concerned.

These groups help people impacted by disability grow and develop spiritually, realize their God-given purpose, and strengthen their relationship with Christ.

STM Chapters are designed to assist the church in the process of incorporating people with disabilities consistently into its structure and programming, leading the Church into a much greater awareness of the spiritual, physical, and social needs of all people.

Special Touch Chapters are more than just a fellowship meeting. Through evangelism, outreach, support, and service, Special Touch Chapters are changing lives!
