The exchange of personal data and supporting documents are part and parcel of using any financial product (Fintechs included). "Phishing" (pronounced, 'fishing') is one of the ways where the security of these exchanges can be abused. 

Phising is the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies. For example, hackers can use "ab@55C.com" instead of the genuine address "ab@5C.com" to trick their targets to gain access to such personal data/ supporting documents. 

Please take the following precautions to ensure the safety of your personal data and supporting documents: 

Never send or voluntarily provide your personal data/ supporting documents through unverified channels

MoneyMatch will only request for your supporting documents/ relevant declarations regarding your account/ transactions through mm.compliance@moneymatch.co. This means only the compliance department in MoneyMatch will have access to your documents. 

Never send unsolicited documents/ personal data through unverified channels, which can include but not limited to social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and messaging platforms (whatsapp, WeChat, Telegram)


Never open attachments from suspicious looking emails

Never respond to any emails informing you that your access has been disabled from any other emails besides customer.support@moneymatch.co. You may contact us directly if you receive such emails.


Never respond to requests to share your PIN, OTP or passwords

Never share your card PIN, One-Time-Password (OTP) or online banking login details with anyone even if they claim to be our staff. These details are personal security information and we will never ask you to share them with us via any channel.


Always access the MoneyMatch platform directly into your browser and verify your secured image
Always access the MoneyMatch platform by keying in moneymatch.co directly into your browser. When logging in, you will be prompted by a security image which has been set by you during account creation. DO NOT PROCEED TO LOGIN when the security image is not correct, and you may contact us directly to alert us of such instances.
