Subject: A sincere apology for our previous email

Dear Friend,

MoneyMatch deeply regrets our mistake and sincerely apologizes for the factual error made in the previous email where it mentioned the number of lives lost instead of infected.

We realize this is a sensitive issue and did not intend to misrepresent or spread fake news in any matter. We care about our community and have taken measures to ensure this will not happen again.

We have since removed the copies with wrong facts/information and implemented a new internal policy for multiple layers of review for our social media posts and marketing email communications that our team members create before they get published or disseminated. We’ve also explained to our team the importance of sensitivity regarding this topic.

Our thoughts and prayers are with India. If you have questions, please reach out to us, and we’ll get back to you.

Sincerely,

Adrian Yap

Chief Executive Officer
