Subject:Ā šŸ”“ Youā€™re scared ainā€™t ya?

That inner voice was ringing in
my ear like the bells on a
church tower.

I tried to ignore it, but I
couldnā€™t.

I knew better, but what if...

Things turned out ok and she
was just a harmless šŸ‘µ older
lady..

But then again, there have been
elderly serial šŸ”Ŗ killers..

I was literally tormenting
myself - over what?

You see, I was in šŸ¤• pain and the
ONLY relief that seemed
plausible was her.

If youā€™ve ever been in pain,
then you know what it feels
like to finally find what you
think is the solution.

Hallelujah!šŸ™

Well, the first of many
"problems" was that she was 80
miles away from me.Ā

For most people, that wouldā€™ve
been a game-over.

For me, itā€™s just another
hurdle I have to get over.

Iā€™ve had many hurdles in life,
so whatā€™s one more?!šŸ™„

It all started with a listing
on Yelp.

I had a problem that I needed
solving and her listing leaped
out at me like a šŸøfrog jumping
out of a pot of boiling water.

Finally!

Hereā€™s the "funny" part...

She was sharing the office with
another business - according to
Yelp, but when I spoke to her
to make the appointment,
something seemed off.šŸ¤”

She said she would text me the
address...

Hmm, I thought it would be the
one listed on Yelp.

When I finally got her text -
days later, there was something
weird about it.

It had an apartment number...šŸ˜²

I did what anyone would do - I
Googled her address and sure
enough it was a residence, not
a business.

Why would a professional, a
woman no less, invite a total
stranger to their residence?

Why would a sane person (thatā€™s
me) go to a strangerā€™s
residence to begin with?

I would advise anyone to not do
what I was about to do (and
did).

I had scary thoughts of death
and dismemberment.

Every single day before that
appointment, I let it bother
me...

Until, I came to the conclusion
that she was working from home
to avoid renting out an office
space.

Iā€™m sure you can understand
wanting to save money.

In fact, I would say one of the
biggest mistakes marketers make
is in fact spending too much
money on their business.

I should say spending too much
money on the wrong things.

Iā€™ll elaborate later...

I went on a šŸ„¾hike by myself for
the first time this morning and
Iā€™m still in disbelief that I
did it!šŸ˜

Enjoy the rest of your day!
