Now, I was HOT… steaming 😤 mad!!

I’m not gonna lie, this is
gonna be long.

but it is important.

Now, I go way back, back when
people didn’t know what social
media was!.

Yep, that far back.📅

MySpace had literally just died😵
and there was a new kid in town
with a funny name…

Facebook…

And there were other social
media sites popping up like
🍿popcorn.

I didn’t know much back then,
but what I did know is that…

You could get FREE 🏹targeted
traffic from these sites
EASILY.

So I heard..

The problem is that I didn’t
know:

I didn’t know too much back
then.

You may be asking yourself
these very same questions right
now.🤔

Back then there was barely any
training at all on how to use
social media to build a
business.

But there was ONE training
program that said they would
teach all that.

So, I eagerly joined.

Boy, was I ready for my first
social media webinar.

I set my my ⏰ alarm, cleared off my
calendar and was ready to learn
about this social media stuff.

Ta-dum!

The webinar was about to start
- and I was early!! 

It started with the moderator
talking to her “friends” and
joking around and 🤣laughing.

When are we gonna start this? 

Now, I didn’t say that, but I
was sure thinking it.

Finally the time came…

We were gonna finally learn how
to drive droves of traffic to
our businesses.🤑

Then the moderator turned the
training over to one of her
underlings…

More laughing and 🤣 joking..

The underling got serious for a
moment and started to tell us
what we’ve been waiting for…

The website address of the
social media site.

Is she for real? Like we
couldn’t figure out the website
address.🙄

My annoyance was growing like a
pot of hot water that was
starting to 🌡️ boil.

I’m ready for the “meat n’
potatoes” of this social media
thing and alls I’m getting is
laughing and joking.🤬

What she said next was really
profound...

When you go to the website,
you’re gonna create an account
and come up with a username and
password.

She then demonstrated how to do
that, which was probably not
needed because all of us on the
webinar were over the age of 5.😏

The end…

She then told us about the next
social media site and how to do
the exact same thing. 

This was the social media
training I was drooling at the
mouth for? The web address and
how to create an account?

Is this a joke?!😲

On that webinar I did not learn
about any strategy or how to
set up my profile correctly or
even what to do on these social
media sites once I mastered the
skill of logging in. 🙄

All of this really happened and
the reason I remember it to
this day is because…

I remember the feeling of being
angry and frustrated that they
had wasted my time.

The laughing and giggling just
sent me over the age. 😩

It was as if someone had
squirted Cheese Whiz all over
my birthday 🎂cake.

Big let down!!

You see, I had cried 😪 tears of
frustration trying to learn all
this social media stuff and
here I was thinking this
training was the answer to my
🙏 prayers.
