Subject:Ā šŸ  Let's go fishing?

If you put many šŸŽ£ poles in the
water, you will catch some
fishā€¦

That was the analogy my mentor
gave me back in the early days
- and it was true.

Now, Iā€™ve only been fishing a
handful of times when I was a
kid.

Nowadays, itā€™s a no-go for me.

Fishing just isnā€™t my thing.šŸ˜

So, when my mentor was talking
about putting fishing poles in
the water, she was talking
about website traffic.

You see, when youā€™re trying to
get traffic to your website,
you want to diversify your
traffic.

That olā€™ saying of donā€™t put
all your eggs in one basket
rings true.

What she told me was that you
need 3-5 "fishing poles" in
different pools of šŸ’§ water.Ā

If one goes away, you still
have two more poles in a
different lake.

How important is this you may
be thinking?

Very important.

When Google made their first
algorithm changes years ago,
there were a lot of us
marketers who were solely
relying on SEO to get various
web properties ranked.

Back then it was possible to
show up on the first page of
Google in minutes!šŸ˜²

Imagine making $10k, $20, $30k+
a month and creating a
lifestyle šŸ¤‘ around that to going
to a big fat ZERO per month
after Google changes their
algorithm.šŸ¤•

Those that solely relied on SEO
for their traffic were
devastated.šŸ¤¢

I write all of this to say,
diversify your traffic.

If youā€™re new to online
marketing or just starting
over, just start with ONE
traffic technique at first
before adding in any others.

To me, three traffic strategies
(or 3 fishing poles in the
water), is the sweet šŸspot.

But you do whatā€™s in your best
interest.
