Itās almost like DĆ©jĆ vu!
Iām sitting in a banquet room
surrounded by a bunch of
strange peopleā¦
It feels oddly familiar as the
āemceeā introduces the next
speaker who talks about their
rags to riches storyā¦
Blah... Blah... Blah...
Iāve been down this š rabbit hole
of fun before..
Iām always the plus oneā¦
You know the one that gets
invited to one of those make
money seminars by a friend or
family member.
Moral support I guessā¦
Flipping homesĀ
Buying homes with no money
downā¦
Make money on the Internet
If thereās a seminar on the
topic of making money, quite
likely I have probably been to
it as an invited guest of
someone.
And every single person I went
with has never taken any action
on the information presented..
Just saying..š
The weird thing about this
seminar was that there were
multiple people speaking (or
pitching) on different topics..
Even investment strategist
Loral Langemeier was there as
well as people from Robert
Kiyosakiās Rich Dad company,
and one of Joel Osteenās
sisters (the motivational
speaker one)ā¦
Star studded š¤© and strangely
entertaining.
They dangled šŖcookies in front
of us to see who would biteā¦
People bit alright - there was
always a mad dash to the table
to sign up to learn more - for
a small nominal cost of
course..
I knew exactly what they were
doingā¦
They were getting people to
take small commitmentsā¦
Ingenious that they would use
it at a seminar like this, but
it worked like a š¤ charm!
People bought into it -
including myself!
But I knew for the cost of a
large pizza I would probably
learn something new.
And I gotta say, these were the
BEST seminars I had ever been
to.š
I knew nothing about rental
properties, mobile home park
investing, real estate
wholesaling, etcā¦Ā
I was exposed to investment
strategies and secrets that I
had never heard of.
It was at a seminar after the
big seminar, that I met Amy
Roloff of Little People, Big
World fame.Ā
My sister, who was not with me,
was a huge fan. Iāve seen bits
and pieces of the show and
immediately knew who she was.
What I didnāt know was that she
said she was a motivational
speaker.Ā
At that time, her marriage was
over and she was open about it.
I loved her honesty and she
seemed exactly how she appeared
on the show.
I write all this to talk about
her husband Mattā¦
If youāre familiar with the
show, you know that he built
his little daughter Molly a
to-die-for dream š° castle.
What dad wouldnāt want to do
that for his daughter?!
Hereās the problemā¦
Matt took 10 years to build
this dream castle for Molly!š²
By the time he was done with
it, she was off to šcollege.Ā
He later said "Oh well... next
life I'll move a little quicker."
Cāmon Matt!
The point of all this, is that
time waits for no one.Ā
Weāre all getting šµ older
Kids are growing upā¦
If youāre serious about making
changes in your life, now is
the time.
Move a little quicker!
